Petroclear TV-RC-2 2″ Tank Vent Cap (Replacement Cap Only) protects above-ground storage and transfer tanks for assorted gasoline and diesel fuels and small lubricant and non-pressurized hydraulic reservoirs. It is designed to maintain a constant tank pressure by creating a semi-closed system that vents at 2.5 lbs of pressure and 1.5 oz of vacuum, protecting the tank from damage due to expansion and contraction of the contents of the tank. By maintaining a semi-closed system, the TV-2 reduces fuel loss due to evaporation and contamination from moisture intake.
